About Artwork Kirk

Born in Dallas, Texas, ‘Artwork Kirk’ Jackson is an American fine artist, muralist, content creator, and educator, cultivating artistic communities worldwide. Earning a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from the prestigious Maryland Institute, College of Art, Kirk’s work spans across various mediums, including painted murals, portraiture, abstract expressionism, collage, continuous line drawings, and graphic design. As an award-winning artist and educator, Mr. Jackson has received grants for implementing and integrating art, STEM, DEI, and project-based learning initiatives into secondary education, as well as faith and community-based programs across the country. Minoring in cultural community development, he has programmed for Johns Hopkins University, Maryland General Hospital, Baltimore City Public Schools, Big Thought, New Tech Network, City of Dallas, Dallas ISD, and the African American Museum Dallas. By showcasing his art practices, hosting creative workshops, and creating content, Kirk has organically amassed an online following reaching millions of accounts, as well as garnered collectors, sponsors, and partnerships from global corporations and entities. His awards include being a Baltimore Office of Promotion & the Arts Muralist, receiving a France-Merrick Grant, Meadows Foundation Grant, a residency through the W.K. Kellogg Foundation, and the Texas Instruments Innovations in STEM Teaching Award, as well as, partnerships with Nike, Crayola, Toyota, AirBnB, Hallmark, and the Jordan Brand.
